Hi, I'm Jenel.
I'm originally from Venezuela, and Canada has been home for more than 24 years.
Building a life here taught me firsthand how important it is to understand your options. When you are navigating a financial system that may be different from what you grew up with, things like banking, insurance, benefits, savings, and planning for the future can feel complicated very quickly.
That experience has stayed with me. It is one of the reasons I care so much about making financial conversations feel clear and approachable, whether someone has lived in Canada their entire life or is building a life here.

Over the last 18 years working in banking and financial services, I've had the opportunity to understand that world from the inside.
And somewhere along the way, I realized that what I enjoy most isn't making financial things sound complicated.
It's doing the opposite.
Making them make sense.
I'm also a mom to two girls, and becoming a parent changed the way I think about financial protection.
Planning for the future suddenly became much more personal.
For me, insurance isn't about expecting the worst. It's about making thoughtful choices today so the people we love have more options tomorrow.
That is a big part of why I chose to move into life insurance.
Today, I'm a licensed life insurance agent serving individuals and families in British Columbia and Ontario, helping them understand their options around life insurance, critical illness insurance, and disability insurance.
And because I speak both English and Spanish, I'm especially proud to support Spanish-speaking individuals and families who may feel more comfortable having these conversations in their own language.
My approach is pretty simple.
I'm not here to convince you that you need something.
I'm here to help you understand what's available, what it could do for you, what it may cost, and whether it actually makes sense for your life.
Ask questions. Take your time. Tell me when something doesn't make sense.
And if, after looking at your options, you decide that doing nothing right now is the right choice for you, that's okay too.
Because I believe the best financial decisions happen when you feel clear, informed, and confident, not pressured.
Curious whether life insurance makes sense for you?
There's no obligation in asking. If you're simply trying to understand your options, that's exactly the conversation I like to have.
No pressure, no sales script. Just a real conversation.
